A girl marries the love of her life at the age of 17 after getting pregnant. She moves into her in-law’s place and started a married couple’s life. Few months after giving birth, her life changed for the worse. In this documentary, a 38-year-old woman recounts her traumatic experience of being married into the wrong household at a young age. Her husband would threaten her to kill himself if she ever brought up the topic of divorce while her father in-law would come home wildly drunk and threaten to chop down her bedroom door. She talks about her struggles and how she managed to escape and survive for the sake of her daughter.

Zack and Mabel grew up in a chaotic family where their father, Mr Tan, would come home drunk almost every day and is abusive towards their mother, Mrs Tan.
